Rutland City School District
The Rutland City School District is the school district that manages public schools in Rutland City, Vermont, USA. The superintendent is Mary Moran. Policy is determined by a 12-person Board of School Commissioners.[1] Five schools are run by the district together with a technical center.
History
Northeast Primary School formerly educated in grades K-6. In 1995, Rutland Intermediate School was formed from the former Rutland High School and Northeast reduced to K-2. The new Rutland High School is now located on Stratton Road.
In the year 2002-03, the district did not make adequate yearly progress toward No Child Left Behind educational standards.[2]

- Pierpiont Primary School (Essential Early Education School)[now closed].
Specialist center
- Stafford Technical Center - established in 1974 for both high school students and adults
